Giel, JP, Juliën and Jordy are the metalrock formation: Algorythm. Founded in august of 2008 they’ve performed together for some time and have played on various locations in the Netherlands and abroad. Diversity defines them, aswell as energy, passion and their power to transfer music to their audience. Algorythm is a progressive metalrock band that tells the story of love, hate, paradox and social slavery with all the consequences that goes along with it. Exquisite solid singing, hard guitar riffs alternating with acoustic influences and a groove you won’t forget, Algorythm takes you on their journey and story about suggestive and subjective realities.

Algorythm performed at de Nieuwe Nor, Sjilvend Rock(t) 2010/2011, Ernesto’s, Fenix Poppodium and participated in various band contests. In 2010 they’ve won the band contest MosterdPop which resulted in a show on Urpop 2011, where they’ve performed with bands as Heideroosjes and Lambshade. Later this year Algorythm will perform on festival d-VERS and Omdat het kan! In Fenix Poppodium.

In November 2010 they’ve recorded their first album called: Stories. This live recording took place in The Pit Studio in Weert, the Netherlands. This CD represents a selection of songs picked in what was written until then. In February 2012, Algorythm released an EP, “How do you tell” (recorded at Scorpio Studio, Born), as well as their first videoclip. Now the focus is on new songs and climbing more stages, so we can ensure our listeners “that the rock will keep on going”.
