We’d like to thank everyone a lot for working with us and making sure that we had a blast of a weekend for the release. Without all of you, it couldn’t have happened.
Thanks to you… This EP was released!
For the ones who weren’t there, allow us to write down what happened.
On the Friday, the 10th, the first people started to gather around 7 P.M. where Lynda Cordewener welcomed our audience with her guitar.
Inside the theatre, we were finetuning the lights when Rick came in with the news that he was concerned that it wouldn’t fit inside our theatre hall. We underestimated what he said. We will never do this again.
We were short of chairs. A lot of chairs. Almost 20 people had to stand during the first part of our show.
In the short break we had planned, we’ve made haste to make sure that we had another row of chairs so that everyone could have a seat.
We took the audience on a journey in time. From our first rehearsal in 2008 up until the last day of shooting our video in January, 2012. Every song that we had ever written and played live, was played this evening; with the story behind each and every single song. This resulted in a three hour show which we ended with the first public viewing of our new video: “I’m not gonna stop“.
We’d like to take another oppertunity to thank everyone who worked on this with us! Our donaters, our PR man, the actors and actresses and everyone who has supported us during the years!
On Saturday the 11th, it was time for a whole other night then the 10th. We asked the bands ‘Remember October’ and ‘Cherry Darling’ to accompany us on the stage for a hard rocking night. Which we did!
We learned something about our audience. They like to dance, mosh, bang their heads and partying.
Which they did!
Soon, there will be some pictures and hopefully we can find someone who recorded us on video.

Algorythm Release Party
Lancering van de EP en de videoclip in Sittard
Op vrijdag 10 en zaterdag 11 februari lanceert de band “Algorythm” hun nieuwe EP evenals een daarbij horende videoclip in het Pitboel Theater en de DownTown te Sittard.
In november is Algorythm de studio ingedoken om hun EP op te nemen en de start van 2012 zat vol opnames voor hun eerste videoclip. Op 10 en 11 februari tonen Jordy Jennen, Julien Nelissen, Giel Greijn en Jean-Pierre Keesmekers het resultaat van hun harde werk de afgelopen jaren. Van Pure Simplicity, de eerste bandnaam, tot het huidige Algorythm.
Op 10 februari zal in het Pitboel Theater de “Algorythm Special” plaatsvinden. De EP en de videoclip worden gepresenteerd in een verhaalvorm; Hoe is Algorythm ontstaan in 2009 en hoe zijn ze tot hun huidige plek gekomen; verteld met de muzikale ondersteuning van elk lied dat ze ooit gespeeld hebben.
Hierbij krijgen ze ondersteuning van Lynda Cordewener, die met haar akoestische gitaar iedereen begeleidt naar wat er komen gaat en de pauzes zal voorzien van muzikaal vermaak.
Het Pitboel Theater opent zijn deuren vanaf 19:30u.
Op 11 februari in de DownTown zal Algorythm samen met Cherry Darling (deelnemer Nu of Nooit 2012) en Remember October spelen op de “Algorythm Release Party”. Drie bands die qua muziek en performance de naam “DownTown Rockstage” eer zullen bewijzen.
De DownTown opent zijn deuren vanaf 20.30u. De entree bedraagt 2 euro.
